The prologue begins with a short excerpt from Norse mythology which immediately indicates that this will not be your typical romance novel. The short snipppets are woven into the story to hint at something that we don't understand just yet. The story is fast-paced and sexy.Raven is returning home from visiting a friend when she mysteriously has car trouble. A hot biker, Magnus, stops to help her, but she refuses and decides to seek help in a seedy bar instead. BIG mistake!!! Magnus comes to her aid again and they spend the nigbt together. The next morning, Raven quietly leaves the room because she's never has a one night stand and that's all this can be. Or is it?
I look forward to reading book 1 to see how the gods will influence earthly events. I'm very curious to see how the story will unfold because I have lots of questions that I hope will be answered. Can't wait!

SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! What a hot & perfect story! Well, actually it is a short prequel to this new series by Renee, but WOW! It could not have hooked me more if it tried! Right from the start I was absorbed right into the story itself, seeing everything through Raven's eyes, and can I just say *droooool* what a sight it was!! *wipes drool from chin* I have ALWAYS been fascinated and drawn to mythology, so for that alone I would be reading this series! With the tremendously talented Renee penning this hot mythological story & series, you just know that you will be living a story & series like no other! I CANNOT wait to read more so thankfully book 1 is also available now! YOU GOTTA READ THIS!!! (NOTE now that I have read book 1 – Love’s Choice, I have to say that this beautifully sets up the story, and while this story flips between viewpoints of current Earth and the Godly Realm, and might seem a touch confusing because of the lack of answers, Love’s Choice fills in the blanks and more! I think reading this prequel and then going right into book 1 will give you the best experience ever!! Trust me! You will love them!!)

In the world of fantasy romance the possibilities are endless and always fascinating. Without reservations I recommend this book and the series.

I was hooked from the very beginning! I loved the mythical aspect of the story. The plot was interesting and different. The characters were easily relatable to me. I was right there with them from the very beginning. I haven't been disappointed in anything I've read by Renee.
